Review of Gray Line’s Napa and Sonoma wine tour from San Francisco, covering wineries, transport, price, timing, lunch, and practical drawbacks.

“This wine tour was phenomenal from start to finish! We went as a group to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and it exceeded every expectation. The three wineries were excellent, with generous tastings and beautiful experiences at each stop. Our tour guide, Thomas, was outstanding—professional, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wineries and their history. Everything was perfectly organized. This tour is an absolute must-do and worth every minute. Highly recommend! 🍷✨”

Review of San Francisco’s Muir Woods and Napa-Sonoma wine tour, with three tastings, Golden Gate views, transport, and optional lunch.

“We enjoyed a wonderful tour on Sunday with Ben. We started with a relaxing serene walk through the beautiful Muir Woods. A small grove of redwoods just outside the city. It's a great place to get your zen on!! I wish it had been a smaller group but Ben did a very good job while staying on schedule, entertaining, and keeping track with 29 guest. It nice when everyone stays on his schedule. Ben was informative and fun! Each winery was interesting and very different...from family operated to large commercial. Our favorite was the Jacuzzi Vineyard. It was absolutely beautiful!! We enjoyed the delicious lunch option in Sonoma. The meals…”

Taste Sonoma’s boutique wines on a small-group day trip from San Francisco, with Golden Gate views, Sonoma Square, and optional Sausalito ferry return.

“I was in town for work and took the tour solo. Antoni really made the day. We all joked around and he has great wit and made everyone feel comfortable. His running commentary is hilarious. You can tell he really wants everyone to have the best experience. You’ll get “off the beaten path” winery experiences. We had time in Sonoma in the middle of the day for lunch and walking around. The restaurants and shops were lovely. I loved the size of the tour. Everyone was incredibly nice”

Review of a full-day San Francisco tour combining Muir Woods, three Napa and Sonoma wineries, Sonoma Plaza, lunch, and Golden Gate views.

“The tour was incredible. Our tour guide, Alberto, was fantastic. The different wineries were delicious, diverse, and beautiful. My advice: if you go to Mayo, definitely do the upgraded tasting—it’s totally worth it. Just a small warning: the road trip to Muir Woods can be a bit challenging, but our driver and tour guide handled it perfectly. The stop at the Golden Gate Bridge was one of the most beautiful moments of the tour. We went early in the morning, and it was almost empty, which allowed us to take amazing pictures. I totally recommend this tour. In Sonoma Plaza, there are many delicious lunch options—we ate at Plaza Bistro,…”
